Jonathan Asselin wins $50,000 Warsteiner World Cup Qualifier

On a beautiful afternoon in Langley, Jonathan Asselin aboard Lolita, one of two mounts on the day, raced to victory in an electric jump off round barely edging out local rider Chris Lowe to win the first World Cup Qualifying event of the Canadian League. Jonathan and Lolita posted a time of 40.49 in the jump off to take home the $22,500 paycheck and a giant pint of Warsteiner.
