Langley, BC (July 21st, 2010) – Thunderbird Show Park will welcome international riders from across 4 continents to our Fort Summer Festival which includes 3 weeks of tournaments and features the CSI2*-W $75,000 Keg Steakhouse & Bar World Cup on Saturday August 28th. Entries will close August 1st so please get your forms in early.
BC Summer Games at TBird

The summer games will officially start Friday July 23rd and will run all weekend to July 25th. We are so excited to be the host venue for the equestrian portion of the Summer Games and wish good luck to all the competitors. This unique event will bring riders and horses from all over British Columbia to compete in such events as Reining, Dressage, Vaulting and Jumping.
AQHA Regional 1 Championship Show
We are very pleased to welcome the AQHA Region 1Championship show to Thunderbird this year, it will run all week long from July 21st-July 25t
2010 Jump Canada Levy Rider Bursary Program
At every 2010 BCHJA Gold Horse Show, there will be a $500 rider bursary awarded to the top ribbon placing BCHJA member in selected "feature" hunter/jumper classes. An individual may win a maximum of one Jump Canada Levy Rider Bursary per season.

Thunderbird Grand Prix Spectator Village under construction..
The new "Grand Prix Village" is well underway and construction has commenced on the $264,000 project that will see the 6 acres above the grand prix ring transformed into a village for spectators to enjoy the park. This project includes; covered stadium seating, a jumbo-tron video board, children's playground, a fenced dog park, a pony corral and a horseless jumping area for the kids. Around the entire village will be a new split cedar fenced riding trail and a pathway to connect spectators to the Maplebrook Lane boulevard and the Hickstead Place Vendor Area.
